Effect of Build Orientation on Mechanical Behaviour and Build Time of FDM 3D-Printed PLA Parts: An Experimental Investigation

One of the important process parameters affecting tensile strength and build time part is orientation. Therefore, in this study, FDM 3D-printed PLA parts were fabricated at different orientations to examine effects orientation on properties material. In regard, three print angles examined. According results, decreased when was aligned from flat upright direction 0° 90° printing angle. For orientation, 36% less obtained than ones because fracture mode loading direction. terms time, increased as changed upright. had a big impact produced using FDM.
